About the Owner

Decorating cakes has been a hobby of the owner, Vicki Williamson, since age 6. While watching an aunt decorate her own wedding cake on Grandma's kitchen table, she became fascinated with the craft.  An Easy Bake Oven was the next outlet for the new hobby until a neighbor recognized the interest and gifted her with her first Wilton catalog/instruction book at age 11.  Then in high school, a friend and fellow church member named Ollie Chappell Smith, a gifted decorator, offered local classes through the Oconee County school system.

She continued self training, evening classes, continuing education and Wilton training throughout high school and college, and a career in Information Systems management. She sold her first wedding cake while in college.

Vicki is a member of Columbia Bridal Associates and ICES.  Her work has been featured in Southern Living, Columbia Bride, Carolina Bride, Columbia Metropolitan Magazine, Columbia Living Magazine, Only In Your State, American Cake Decorating Magazine, and on the cover of Palmetto Parent Magazine.
